In my opinion, the book of Boba Fett is an example of good character development, Star Wars finally becoming fun again, and a well-done space western.
I'm maddsnake, the Wizard, Mike Hass and I'm to discuss why I believe the book of Boba Fett is almost amazing.
When watching the first 4 episodes, it was all build up and character development, which was done very well, but towards the 5 and 6 episodes, it becomes Mandalorian Season 2.5, which was good, but I feel like this show should have been longer, or this should have been condensed into 1 episode, or this episode should have had Boba Fett in it. This show did not seem as well planned as the Mandalorian, but I still enjoyed Robert Rodriguez's directing. There were a lot of shots that reminded me of El Mariachi, Desperado, and other great films he's made. I do feel Robert was the perfect choice to contribute to a majority of this show. I also feel that the set up for the characters was well done, but the battles and plot points were not. The characters that were well set up were the Mandalorian black krssantan and the cyborg Drash. The end battle was well set up, but it would have been better if plot elements of the battle appeared in earlier episodes instead of 4 episodes of a little bit of action and background, then 2 Mandalorian episodes, rather than a huge end battle. The final battle was one of the best episodes of Star Wars TV ever, and it was better than all of the sequel trilogy movies put together, but I can't say the same for the previous episodes. I am glad we got to see Boba Fett riding a rancor. That is one of the most epic moments in Star Wars. The Book of Boba Fett was one of the best things to happen to Star Wars, but it could have been better, but at least it was better than any Star Wars film Disney has ever made.
