ZtonerX is a Delaware based artist and he has a song out called "Check them Papers". I am going to review and analyze this track. Be sure to check out my youtube channel where I have interviewed this artist in podcast form.
I really enjoy the adlibs on this track. The song has good structure and ZtonerX does some of his best singing I have heard. The piano in the beat is very good. I really like the percussion and it matches with the delivery of his bars.
The beat drops are well timed. The song gives me dancehall vibes with the delivery of the bars but not the beat. I think ZtonerX would do very good on a Lil Tecca style dancehall beat. Lil Tecca does better dancehall music than rap just saying.
I was a huge fan of this track and I would give it a 8/10.
