A review of Paxxin's song "Ghetto Circumstances"

Updated: Apr 30, 2023

Paxxin is an underground artist who is from Sacramento (the 916) and has moved to the 208 (Idaho). This artist has been arrested on two felony counts and is still awaiting the result of the arrests. Paxxin continues to drop music, previously known for songs such as "Solo" and "Preach", he drops a new single called "Ghetto Circumstances".

The beat is a New Orleans sounding beat with a Jazzy piano melody with some Youngboy sounding guitar riffs in the beat. The beat is well structured with a counter melody later in the song, but the vocals are well mixed with pitching effects added, but the songwriting is not as well structured as the beat. I enjoy the passion in the vocals and rapping, but the counter melody sections could have been used for a hook or chorus.

There is however memorable lines and flows. "I predicted future's now I'm feeling like a mayan" and "make them sink like the titanic" are memorable lines in this track. The pronunciation of the lyrics can be off putting to those who will not appreciate the subject matter. If you enjoy the subject matter of the song, you will not be bothered by the pronunciation of the lyrics.

Overall I would give this a 7 out of 10.

I would reccomend you listen for yourself with the link below and follow him on instagram.
